Harry’s Restaurant in Exeter is set in the heart of the city and has been gratifying appetites for 26 years. Rated as one of the best restaurants in Exeter on TripAdvisor, Harry’s has established itself to become the go-to dining den on the neighbourhood food scene.

Founded in 1993 by the Pounds family, Harry’s is still independently owned and run today. The eclectic restaurant, bar and private dining room all sit within the iconic gothic style building, formerly Harry Hems’ 19th century architectural sculptors workshop.

Harry’s is the perfect place for you to host your event! If you’d like to have your party in the main restaurant, up to 20 people can pre-order from our a La Carte menu. For parties larger than 20, we have our private event room available for up to 40 people. Choose either 2 or 3 courses for your event from our Party & Event Menu.

Was fantastic we loved it !!! Good job it’s not local to us as I would be 25 stone !! & the quality of food was amazing & not overpriced for the quality…. Can’t wait for our next visit!

Fab service today from Amy and the team. We were running very late due to heavy traffic but they were very accommodating. Unfortunately they had run out of fresh fish by the time we got there (their delivery was less than usual for some reason) however Amy gave us a complimentary drink each to compensate, which we didn't ask for but was gratefully received. We will definitely return next time we visit our in Exeter Uni. Thanks Team Harry's - you're amazing!

Food....gorgeous. Staff constantly on the move, extremely friendly , yet professional. Great place , when you wish to spoil someone , have a romantic meal or just indulge in good food .

The food was delicious, the service was friendly and welcoming. There was a relaxed dining experience and perfect for any occasion! Good choice of wine which was reasonably priced. Best part of the evening was the food, lots of variety and everything we had was delicious. Best meal we have had in a restaurant for a while.

From start to finish our whole meal was an excellent experience. It was our daughter’s birthday and they made it special.
