waiter brought wrong dish friend. Ate her whole dish before my meal came no sorry or comp a drink or anything. it was hard for waiter to understand us….

Good food, cosy. Tables a little close together but that would be the only thing. Nice bar to sit and wait for friends. Friendly staff.

Firstly our meal and service at the table was absolutely fantastic. Mattas was our server, and he was fantastic, knowledgable about the menu and very friendly, and the gentleman who helped us with the wine choice was also fabulous. Our food was hot, fresh and tasted fantastic. The sea bass was beautiful. Mashed potatoes were very tasty. The only thing that let the service down was waiting at the bar for our table to be ready. There were 3 bartenders and they all stayed extremely busy making drinks coming through the service till for the tables. There were only 6 of us at the bar, and no one acknowledged us. There was a gentleman clearing glasses from surrounding tables who saw us, acknowledged us and got someone to serve us. It didn’t take forever, but a good 8 or 9 minutes waiting at the bar without anyone even looking at you, or bringing you a menu is a long time. We found menus ourselves after a good 5 minutes further down the bar. The drinks we ended up getting were fantastic though. The bar is beautiful so it’s a shame that it isn’t serviced in a way to pop in and enjoy a couple drinks. Overall we had a great night, and if back in Victoria would go back.

Slow service, brought different parts of our main course at different times, overall a less memorable experience which is disappointing given the proximity of your location

Started off as a great new Italian restaurant close to home. Service the last two occasions has really deteriorated. Example, Fifteen minutes to get your drinks, fifteen minutes to finishing meal to getting a waiter to clear and offer desert/coffee. Also the second time that a takeaway container is not available - so food waste continues! Food is superb, location and decor wonderful, so real pity about the smaller things that makes one great - improve your service!

It was just a very strange experience with disorganised staff, an interesting floor manager & a lack of attention. There was a deduction from the bill but that didn’t make up for ruining a long overdue catch up with friends whilst I was visiting from overseas. I will not be returning.

Spoiler Alert ‼️ A soft 6 out of 10… Lovely dining room, excellent service… oh so ordinary food However great coffee… which we got after we paid the cheque… Feel a letter coming on… 🙃

What an evening, I can confidently say that it was an outstanding experience! The food was absolutely amazing—each dish was bursting with authentic Italian flavors that transported me straight to Italy. From the appetizers to the desserts, every bite was a delight. What truly set this restaurant apart was the exceptional service. The staff was attentive, friendly, and genuinely interested in ensuring we had a wonderful meal. Our waiter, Kazi , was particularly impressive. He provided excellent recommendations and made sure our dining experience was nothing short of perfect. If you're looking for a fantastic Italian dining experience, I highly recommend the Harries Restaurant, I can't wait to return!
