HATCH is an izakaya bar & grill featuring yakitori, a fresh raw bar, and trendy California flavors for a unique and creative signature flare. We celebrate craft cocktails, draft beers and sake highlighting Japanese specialties – specifically Japanese whiskies.

We are lively and casual, with a fun dining experience that families, couples and friends can enjoy. Diners can expect a colorful journey of yummy tapas-style portions to share in an energetic and contemporary setting, where great food meets good times.

Validation available for THE BLOC Parking Garage. Reservations are held for 20 minutes.

Food was amazing! We waited a while for service, the servers weren’t very welcoming but the runner was so sweet and nice! We loved being able to try a little bit of every thing and the pricing was decent.

We had the bone marrow last night and it was excellent. We are very excited about the upcoming Fall menu, which we were told will be available next week. Out favorite drink Liquid Gold is coming back!

Great food and service this past saturday night. My wife and I sat at the bar and the food just kept coming. Every dish was wonderful, the sake and whiskey selection is outstanding, and the prices are very fair. (Though careful with those whiskeys). Service from our waiter was outstanding - and honestly everyone else. We will be back, 100%

We stumbled upon this place during NYE when my fiance, at the time, and I was trying to look for a last minute dinner. We found this gem on open table and decided to give it a try. We were seated immediately upon arrivals. Ever since then we try to find any excuse to come here. Even though it’s a far drive for us, Orange County, we would find ourselves back here for any reason! I can not recommended this place enough!
