Havana Central Times Square is the best Cuban restaurant and rum bar in New York City. We serve an assortment of delicious Cuban food for dine-in, takeout, and delivery. Every week, immerse yourself in our live Latin music on Thursdays from 6pm-9pm, Fridays from 7pm-10pm, and Sundays from 5pm-8pm. Check-in was friendly, but chaotic because of the crowds. To be fair, our reservation was at 7 an the place was filled with pre-theater diners and holiday revelers. The food was very disappointing. Our pork masitas were overdone, as was were the tostones. The shrimp and rice was flavorless. On the positive side, the drinks were solid.

We stopped by on a friends recommendation. I am glad we did. Had the three pork dish with rice and salad. The ribs were simply delicious. Tender and juicy with this guava sauce on it. My god these were good. The Pernil was succulent and the fried pork was my favorite. Finger licking good. Had a mojito for drink. Will be back FOR SURE!

I had the guava ribs. Very tasty with black beans and side salad. My son had the Cuban sandwich and fries which he said was good. The others shared a shrimp and rice dish and seemed to enjoy it. Two birthdays so we enjoyed the flan and singing.

I like to thank our server Onassis last night for an enjoyable visit. He was very attentive, polite and charismatic. He was also able to take a fantasic group picture for us. Havana Central is one of our favorite restaurant in NYC. Also, like to thank the employees who cooked our food (always great). Wishing you all a Merry Christmas (Feliz Navidad) and a blessed New Years. May God protect and bless us all 2025.

The band was too loud. We were unable to talk. We had to yell order to waiter. We couldn’t hear him nor him us.

Had a lovely meal here with my sister. Shared an appetizer & both chose the mango salmon salad. Both dishes were excellent and the price was reasonable

Our food was delicious, and the service was excellent. We had a reservation and were seated immediately. The staff at Havana Central are always friendly, accommodating, and efficient.
