Havana Central Times Square is the best Cuban restaurant and rum bar in New York City. We serve an assortment of delicious Cuban food for dine-in, takeout, and delivery. Every week, immerse yourself in our live Latin music on Thursdays from 6pm-9pm, Fridays from 7pm-10pm, and Sundays from 5pm-8pm. Havana Central is not just about great food; we also offer Happy Hour Specials, off-site catering, and host special events to cater to all your needs.

The food was great - we were all very happy with our choices (Beef & Chicken Empanadas, Sweet Plantains, Garlic Shrimp & Mango Salmon) and it was a fun atmosphere - though it’s very loud with the live music, we were happy to be seated upstairs. It was a perfect pre-show dining spot.

Frita de vaca was served salty and cold. The chicken and rice was not to good. The garlic chicken was good but also cold. The empanadas were good. Not worth the prices! Jmo

Food was delicious I ordered the steak with chimichurri , black beans, white rice & the sweet plátanos. The chimichuri is delicious. The classic mojito was perfect with the sugar cane and not too sweet. We arrived at noon and it was empty but by 1pm it was full definitely recommend making rsvp.

Great experience overall. Wonderful service by Emilio. All our food was timely and hot. My chicken pressed sandwich was amazing. The Cuban was very flavorful.

Taste ok but not great Not worth the average $50 per person price (sans alcohol) Music too noisy

Great food, long wait for a booking. Two days before Xmas so not surprising… Flavour filled food and for us, something different while travelling. Thanks to all fhe staff
