This restaurant is absolutely amazing! My service was phenomenal and the food top notch! I had the Sunday roast and if I could eat it every day I would! Well done!!

Excellent express meal before theatre. Starter most enjoyable (beetroot), Steak was cooked to perfection and desert perfect to complete. A handful more of the delicious chips would have been even better (so ordered an extra portion). Thank you Hawksmoor for a delightful meal.

The food was wonderful (steak and chips, hake and potatoes) and all the staff was lovely (Lenka remembered our son, his drawing from last time, and she still has it 😁, he drew her another picture!). A great experience!

Very over-rated , had much better quality steaks and pepper corn sauce - chocolate dessert is s good idea but really needs a professional chef to look at it Service was poor- no asking if ok, forgot salad, 5 different waiters - when you pay that money you expect better

This was my first visit to Hawksmoor having been to Gaucho many times. I have to be honest and feel I was a bit disappointed. My first impression was the restaurant had no atmosphere and felt like a ‘cold canteen’. The service was good but all the staff were dressed in various casual clothes and some looked a bit scruffy. I normally have a ribeye but went for the porterhouse. It had a very salty crust and was much tougher than I was expecting. The wine was expensive too. £17 for a glass of 175ml Malbec!? I will try Hawksmoor again and next time have the ribeye as I have heard great things. Overall it didn’t blow me away as I had hoped.

I have been here before and loved it however this time it was unfortunate as the majority of food we wanted was not available due to technical issues, this dampened our experience. The service was not good, we had a waitress who we thought knew exactly what she was talking about however resulted in under ordering for 4 as we were told that the food was plenty to share which it wasn’t. Drink’s took a while to come and it was not that busy considering New Years day. The manager was good though who sorted out the order in the end.
