I understand there’s times when the business is slow. The nights my two friends and I dined here, there may have been about 3 or 4 occupied tables when we arrived and we were the last to leave. Our server was friendly, however when it came to then end of the dining experience, she completely disappeared. Is was around 9pm at this time and they were set to close at 10. The rest of the FOH staff went around turning off the fireplace, retrieving and blowing out all the candles for the tables surrounding us, etc. At one point is was total silence, one of my friends got up to see where our server was and there was no one to be found. It was only 30 minutes later that she showed up and we were able to pay and proceed with our evening. The food on the other hand… I’ve dined at two other locations and have had impeccably delicious food and service, no qualms. However, i was sorely disappointed this time and embarrassed inviting my friends to try this place for their first times. The only thing that was good were the fish tacos. Will it deter me from staying away from the Hearsay family? No. But I may not return to this location at Levy Park. :(
