A Farm Coastal Restaurant located inside the Study at Yale Hotel on Chapel Street at the heart of Yale University Campus in New Haven, CT. Our friends, farmers & growers in Connecticut, New England & beyond supply us with heritage ingredients showcasing the farm & coastal bounty, integral to American Heirloom Cooking. Our wine collection includes wines from Italy, Spain, France, Australia, Germany, South Africa and the United States. Our wine choices are eclectic and distinctive with a focus on value and boutique labels as well as Sustainable, Organic and Bio dynamic selections. Inviting warmth and hospitality, local-heartfelt fare; eclectic wines and cocktails and a commitment to honest service and value are paramount to the Heirloom experience.

    This is our regular Christmas or Thanksgiving location. It’s never disappointed. Pricing isn’t “holiday inflated”, food is always on point, service is stellar. I’m big on cocktails and theirs are lovely. Thought out and executed well. Huge wine selection, and deserts that don’t disappoint. Put this place on your list.

    Such a beautiful room. The food is very good quality but it was difficult to find anything we really wanted to eat. Bottle of Pinot Noir not worth drinking. Service polite but uninformed and unenthusiastic.

    There’s a reason this is my go-to restaurant. Incredible dinner menu and did not disappoint. Dinner service is at a relaxed pace; plan accordingly.

    Both the food and service experience are diminished compared to the past. This has been true for the past few times I’ve been there recently. Inattentive staff and errors in food orders are now typical. I hope it gets sorted out.

    I was surprised that my faro salad was basically a pasta dish. It was served hot with the cheese melted in and wasn’t what I had expected from a “ bowl”. It was still good but I was looking for a bit less faro and more tomatoes and arugula…

    My friend ordered the scallops which were $35 with no sides. He received 3 scallops. Were these scallops worth $12 a piece. No, they were overcooked and rubbery. We should've known that we were there at 7PM on a Saturday night and the place was virtually empty. Never again
