In the heart of downtown Minneapolis, appropriately located in a beautiful underground space, you'll discover Hell's Kitchen, an employee-owned restaurant known for its damn good food. Join us for breakfast, lunch, dinner or drinks 7 days a week, and enjoy REAL comfort food made by chefs who care, described by food writers as "unique but not fancy; interesting but not fussy". Almost everything is made from scratch, from our award-winning peanut butter to our unique dips and dressings, winning us over 67 "best" awards as well as accolades in Gourmet Magazine, Conde Nast Traveler, Midwest Living, and other national magazines. And bring the kids along... you should see the cheeky notes they write to us!

    Peanut butter was just as good as the hype says it is. Buffalo Benedict was inedible, with egg cooked hard and meat so tough I had to spit it out. I had one bite and pushed plate to the side to eat appetizers. Server asked everyone around us how they like their food, but not us, lol. I would try again but order something else.

    The food was great, but took a long time to come out. Ambiance was great. We loved having live music and it wasn’t too loud so we could still converse.

    Celebrated my daughter's Sweet 16 here after doing an escape room nearby. Had an awesome time and really enjoyed the dinner and the photo booth to celebrate!

    This was my first visit, and it was a new experience. The Bloody Mary/Mimosa bar staff were very informative and helpful. The waitress was experienced, friendly, and available. I appreciate the staff-owned business. Everyone said they were pleased with their food. It was pricey, but I was not surprised. I did not receive an itemized receipt; I would have appreciated it!
