A mess from beginning to end despite the manager Bobby’s efforts to reset the evening for us. It started with us witnessing 2 women getting high outside the restaurant when we were walking in. We later discovered that they were part of the live R&B band that was performing for the evening. They sounded like drunken Karaoke most of the time . We had a 9:30 reservation and waited 40 mins. After being told we were next and then witnessing at least 2 other couples ( same size party) with later reservations be seated before us, I complained . The host responded “ yeah that probably happened… but you’ll be seated soon though and then just a blank stare. Then I requested the Mgr. Initally the Mgr. Bobby apologized about the delay ( which is understandable) but when I questioned why were people with later reservations and same party size sat first, he quickly tried to remedy the problem. We were sat in the private dining room and compensated with drinks. Then the waiter, Cordell appeared to forget about us. After taking our order he was pretty non existent. 3 hours for 3 courses. Bobby compensated us without a complaint from us with appetizers. When our salad arrived We waited 26 mins for salad dressing, which I obtained by approaching the kitchen area . We awaited over 45 mins for drinks. At midnight we had no drinks or champagne for New years toast . Exhausted and thirsty we left without our 4th course . Bobby tried to reset and address the issues but his staff just wasn’t working with him. Sitting in the private dining room, which is near the entrance to the kitchen we were also privy to all the explicit language of the staff about the patrons and management. Just lovely . SMH. I will say the food I consumed was decent and the peach lemon drop martini was great .
