Online reservation did not indicate prefixe menu for Christmas Eve. Had it shown this, we would have likely made other plans. When we got there, we decided to make the best of it. I was told no substitutions would be made (despite $70/per person cost) even substituting side item for alternate side was not allowed. I ordered the streak med as only choices were med rare and med and it came out pretty rare. I had a hard time eating it. For 7 of us, bill was nearly $700 and none of us enjoyed the food. While I appreciate they opened on Christmas Eve and we had a positive experience once before, this wasn’t it.

Excellent holiday meal! All three courses were amazing as part of the Christmas Eve prix fixe. It was our first time at HOG, and we plan to return to try the full menu.

Every time we go the Henley on Grace it is a wonderful dining experience. From the beautiful decor, the delicious food, excellent staff and charming owner, William; our evening was perfect. Wine was perfectly curated by William and paired well with our meals. Sea bass, lamb and pasta dishes were perfectly cooked and very tasty! Henley on Grace is a must-go!

If you’re looking for an intimate spot to catch up with friends or family and you’re downtown in Richmond, this is your destination! It’s the perfect spot for dinner before the Forum, holiday trip to Jefferson to see the lights, shopping, or a date night. They were also very friendly (our server and the owner) and took great care with our guest who had not only nut allergies, but was also gluten-free. Everything was delicious!

William was an excellent host and the food was exceptional! We had a wonderful leisurely dinner and plan to return soon. Highly recommend this restaurant

Whenever we’re downtown for an event, we always come here. The food is outstanding as is the service. On this trip, my husband had the lamb and I had the sea bass. They were both specials and were excellent. We also got the pistachio ricotta cake for dessert which was amazing.

Fabulous dinner! Cozy setting and if there hadn’t been a large, loud holiday gathering, the ambiance would have been terrific. No doubt, the next visit will be even better!!

A little gem not far from the Jefferson Hotel. Superb wine list including dozens of selections by the glass, which is rare and impressive. The food was absolutely delicious and arrived in perfect sequence. Highly recommend!
