Henri Brasserie Française is a grand restaurant, the likes of which only appear once in a decade. Set in the landmark Birks Building located in the heart of downtown Montreal and connected to the new Hotel Birks Montreal 5-star Hotel, Henri presents a cuisine of today, inspired by the timeless traditions of the grand French brasseries. Our gourmet and comforting dishes created by our chef showcase the finest Canadian and Quebec seasonal products from coast to coast. You will be charmed by the enchanting atmosphere of this spacious and bright Montreal dining room with its 19th century French décor and by its spectacular terrace. The men and women who enliven our dining room and our kitchen combine decades of experience gained in some of the best restaurants in the world.

    Très beau restaurant, première expérience. Lunch pour affaires. Personnel très accueillant. Bouffe très bonne. Service impeccable. Attention donnée par le resto, j'avais demandé d'avoir une table en retrait et les instructions avaient été suivies.

    I had the escargot in puff pastry and the breast of duck. Both were exquisite. The wait staff were very attentive. I wish I was her longer so I could try the rest of the menu.

    The setting is lovely and the service attentive, although not always accurate. The food was a disappointment. Monkfish dish had a great sauce but the white beans were underdone and the fish was good but appeared to have sat waiting for other dishes. Won’t be back.
