Henri Brasserie Française is a grand restaurant, the likes of which only appear once in a decade. Set in the landmark Birks Building located in the heart of downtown Montreal and connected to the new Hotel Birks Montreal 5-star Hotel, Henri presents a cuisine of today, inspired by the timeless traditions of the grand French brasseries. Our gourmet and comforting dishes created by our chef showcase the finest Canadian and Quebec seasonal products from coast to coast. You will be charmed by the enchanting atmosphere of this spacious and bright Montreal dining room with its 19th century French décor and by its spectacular terrace. The men and women who enliven our dining room and our kitchen combine decades of experience gained in some of the best restaurants in the world.

    Le décor est fabuleux, le service, très professionnel. La portion de brioche pour les œufs bénédictine était petite par contre il y avait beaucoup de saumon. Les pancakes étaient bonnes mais il manquait de sirop. Un peu sec.

    Tout est parfait, la seule chose que j’ai moins aimé était que le service des boissons était un peu lent. Nos verres arrivaient en même temps que ou parfois même après la nourriture. Autre ce petit inconvénient, j’ai adoré. Notre serveur était très efficace et sympathique, et l’ambiance était conviviale. 10/10.

    The location the restaurant decor is fabulous. The Stafford is very attentive. The only disappointing part is the food was OK very salty and black in proper presentation. I’m also took the time to add a note to my reservation that was with my wife 65th anniversary and apart from a quick comment from the host. Nothing else was done to to underline this occasion we will return for the ambiance and probably just have a drink and an appetizer.

    Excellent restaurant, food excellent, service top notch. Great place for a nice dinner, my third time there in one month and a half. I recommend it to anyone breakfast, lunch or supper.

    We were staying at the Hotel Birks which this restaurant is part of so dined here for dinner and breakfast during our stay. The food is out of this world!! And the service is first class too. I had the beef bourguignon which was served in a copper pot. The meat literally melted in the mouth and the creamy mash potato and root vegetables were on point. It was by far the best meal I had during our trip. The breakfasts were amazing too. Beautifully presented and good sized portions. The service we received from Mika for dinner and the others throughout our stay made it a truly memorable experience. I can't speak highly enough of this restaurant - it's Michelin quality food and service served within an exquisite location.

    L’ambiance des brasserie français et bien présente, la carte et variété et les plats sont de très bonnes qualités. Note spécial pour le désert mille feuille caramel et fruit de la passion. Nous avons passer une très belle soirée.
