We are an eclectic Los Angeles restaurant, located in Koreatown, heralded for its creativity and genre-defying cuisine. Their first restaurant together, owners Lien Ta and Chef Jonathan Whitener opened Here's Looking At You in 2016. Named a "Restaurant of the Year" by Food & Wine Magazine and one of Eater National's "38 Most Essential Restaurants," HLAY was also the subject of author Patric Kuh's "Becoming a Restaurateur." After four magical years as a small independent restaurant, COVID-19 would force its forever closure. But 17 months later, fate would have it that the community would come together to help resurrect this very special restaurant. Thanks to you, Here's Looking At You is back.

I love this restaurant. It’s my go to place when I have an event at the Wiltern. The food is delicious and the cocktails are amazing. The service is very friendly. I would highly recommend this restaurant!!

The team cares a lot and that shows in each task and interaction—the food is made with deep care, the bar is exceptional and the service real and genuine. A great place!

We love HLAY! We had not been to the 8:30 happy hour, when there is a burger and steak frites added to the menu. The burger was delicious and the curly fries were perfectly seasoned. Cocktails always fantastic and the vibe is friendly & fun. Highly recommend!

Had an incredible date night at this hip spot. The vibe was great and food was wonderful. We joined for Tiki-Thursday and the Mai Tai was delicious! Shout out to our wonderful server, Elliott who had great recommendations from the menu. The Gem Salad and the Bronzino are highly recommended! Seriously, check this place out!!!

LOVE this place! This was my first time eating at HLAY, and I couldn't have loved it more. Every person we interacted with was delightful, the food was a revelation, and the overall vibe was great. I took an out-of-town friend here and felt like my city was definitely showing off. 10/10 will be coming here again...soon! And if you go on Sunday night, GET THE BURGER! OMG at $17 it is a steal.
