    Hermanos went from being my absolute favourite Winnipeg spot to being an absolute embarrassment, last evening. I booked a reservation for four in the dining room weeks ago for our family Christmas dinner and confirmed we were still coming by an email they sent, a couple of days ago. Yet when we arrived a little early, they seemed surprised. They said they thought the reservation was for two, even though I showed them the email; then they tried to stick us in the lounge. When I showed them I had booked in the dining room , they stuck as at an awkward table for five, in the very back of the restaurant by the bathroom and the constant kitchen traffic. The food was terribly disappointing. They were out of a bunch of menu items. My brother barely touched his tough rib eye. The signature half cob of corn that used to be on all entrees has disappeared. The beautiful mushrooms they used to serve, were three tiny pieces that looked like they came from a grocery store tin of stems and pieces. Very sad to see this place go downhill this way. I will now have to recommend many other terrific steakhouses to my friends and family.

    Great place to eat, service very good . Music was loud ,we couldn’t talk . You should play music after dinner so you can enjoy it more .other then that things were great

    Restaurant was very loud even when not completely full. The food was average and the service was very slow and spotty.

    My friend and I enjoyed a nice dinner after attending MTC on a Sunday afternoon. We both had great steak dinners and shared 2 desserts. The service was excellent. :)

    Steaks are 1/2 the size they used to be. The place was so loud and the service was horrible.

    Extremely noisy. Couldn’t hear the people sitting across from us at the table, and could barely hear the Latin music we were eagerly anticipating. Thankfully, the food and service were very good. Not good for conversation with your table mates, unfortunately.

    We had a fabulous meal, made even better by the wonderful Natalia. Not only does she know the menu inside and out - with fabulous recommendations - but she is a lovely person. Five star service!!!

    The food was excellent. We were a table of 4 that went prior to the theatre. Server made sure that we'd be able to have our dinner and be out the door prior to the show. Would highly recommend Hermanos.
