Hern is a relaxed but ambitious bistro from chef Rab Adams, located in the suburb of Chapel Allerton in North Leeds. Rab and his team build menus by focusing on products that are in season and at their best. Organic vegetables, local cheeses, heritage-breed meat and wild fish all feature heavily.

The restaurant is open:

Wednesday Dinner - a la carte menu
Thursday-Friday Dinner - set menu (4 courses)
& Saturday lunch - a la carte menu

    *PLEASE NOTE WE CAN NOT ACCOMODATE ANY DIETARY REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS EVENT* We will be opening on New Years Eve with a special 7 course tasting menu priced at £100pp (charged on the night) including a welcome glass of champagne. This will be extremely limited with only one sitting starting at 6:30pm-7:30pm. We've planned this early sitting so that everyone can make it to their countdown plans with enough time.

    This was our first time to Hern, it was one of the best meals we've eaten and we will definitely be back. The menu is a tasting menu so the plates are not huge, I think without the cheese course we would have felt hungry. We opted for the wine pairing to go with the set menu and the cheese course so this was a treat night out at over £200 + tip. It definitely was worth it though and we had a lovely romantic meal!

    Everything was perfect, to eat food that wouldn’t normally order and taste how beautiful it was, is amazing. The wine menu was nice the only thing I would say this is the second restaurant in same month now not serving bottled water as tap water is disgusting so I would highly recommend bottled water/distilled water to be served.
