It was my friend Lauren’s birthday and we made a last minute, late night reservation. They welcomed us warmly. The food was delicious as were the drinks. Presentation, ambiance, service, all stellar. Will come back any time I am in San Juan!

Outstanding food served in a non-fussy way. Unique combination of flavors and texture. Renzo con Micha and Paracas dishes were the highlights for us. Great for sharing. Good, friendly service though the wait for the first & second course were too long. Short wine list with decent selection & reasonable price; and more importantly, matches the food well. Simple venue without much character, but it works. Front of the room is better for indoor seating, including the bar. Outdoor patio would be nice in less humid weather. Overall, a must try and we look forward to going back.

Amazing Ceviche and Exceptional Service If you’re looking for the best ceviche in San Juan, look no further! This place offers fresh, authentic flavors. The staff is top-notch, with Edwin and Gabriel crafting some of the best cocktails to complement your meal. Whether you’re in the mood for something classic or looking to try something new, they’ve got you covered. A special shout-out to Carolyn, who was by far the best waitress I’ve had in a long time. She’s friendly, attentive, and really makes you feel comfy. If you’re in San Juan, this place is an absolute must-visit. Highly recommend!

We absolutely loved Sur Barra Nikkei! Truly a delightful experience. Fabulous combination of Peruvian and Asian flavors. Inventive cocktails utilizing ingredients like sesame oil and wasabi powder. Crazy, but it worked. Delicious tirados, cerviches, & a great dessert of both dark and light sesame ice cream surrounding a matcha tea tart. Best dinner in San Juan. We will definitely be back next year.

Great experience. A little trip to Peru in San Juan. Every course was great and the pisco sour was just as I remember from a recent trip to Lima. Sebastian was a great server and was able to wow us with his recommendations. Looking forward to be back soon!
