Came here with my partner and family for a private chefs dinner curated by Chef Kathryn teamed up with pairings from Jeptha Creed Distillery. WOW. WOW. WOW. The whole experience from start to finish was so intimate and perfect. If you are looking to spoil a loved one, or impress a guest, be on the lookout for more of these. From start to finish, we were spoiled with the utmost hospitality, ambiance, the most DELICIOUS food that had deep Scandinavian roots from the Chefs heritage. It was truly an experience. My mother is picky to the point I requested she pretend to like it and mince her words if she didn’t, and she hasn’t stopped raving about it since. I found myself all but licking the plates with some ingredients I HATE. The bourbon pairings, the presentations, the history of Jeptha Creed and the food with its Scandinavian roots, wasn’t just a dinner but an experience. The cocktails were perfect. Zach our waiter seamlessly cared for the whole room as if we were royalty. We all sat at one long table and dined with strangers who became community. Getting to converse and make new friends even for the night made this experience even more magical. It was easy to do, because the food was the star of the show. And the one thing we all had in common (about 30 of us at one long community table) is we were blown away by the dishes we were served. Most things so unique and new to us, the chef had to educate us as each course was served. And then she had to run back and cook again! Beyond impressed. I can’t wait until they do another event and expand my food horizons! I hate goat cheese and gamey meats, but apparently I don’t if this chef is preparing it. 10 out of 10!!
