Dine from our Bistro Menu for some lovely dishes at amazing value. Please note: this is a reduced promotional menu and as such we cannot guarantee to be able to cater to all dietary requirements. 2 courses for £20 or 3 for £23. It’s available all day Monday - Tuesday, until 6:30 on Wednesday – Thursday and before 3pm on Fridays. We’ve worked hard with our chefs to strip things back and keep things really simple. It’s good, hearty, tasty stuff served to you by a team who love what they do. And sometimes you don’t need anything more than that. Our menu changes monthly and is subject to availability, please go to our website or check social media for updates. Please check our allergen menus on our website and let the team know in advance of your booking.

Join us for a tasting menu of delicious food and perfectly matched wines on the first Friday of each month. You'll enjoy a five course menu for £60pp with an optional wine flight of 4 wines to match your starter, fish course, main and dessert for +£30pp Please note: This will be the only menu available on this evening. This is a set menu but we will be able to offer vegetarian options if requested in advance. Regrettably we cannot guarantee to cater to any other dietary requirement, however we may be able to amend a dish slightly to suit if this is mentioned at the time of booking (no later than 10 days before the event). No payment is required until you dine but credit card details are required to secure this booking and are subject to our cancellation policy. No-shows or cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice will be subject to a charge of £10 per person. Images are for illustrative purpose only.

We had an excellent meal at Hispi today. The food (from the Sunday menu) was delicious with good sized portions. Desserts were very good too; we enjoyed the parkin and butterscotch sauce, the honeycomb ice-cream and the set vanilla custard with forced rhubarb and rose granita. Service, as always at Hispi, was great. We don't visit often but when we do, we love it.

Hispi's Tasting Menu nights are just fantastic, and our experience on 4 April was faultless in every respect. The beef tartare appetiser was light and tasty, with its smooth texture contrasting nicely with the crisp little poppadom on which it was served. Then on to the delicious potato gnocchi starter, with cow's curd, courgette and basil in a rich, creamy pistachio sauce combining perfectly with the recommended wine pairing (a deliciously crisp Gavi). The vermouth dressing on the gin-cured sea trout added a refreshing touch of sharpness, offset by the subtle sweetness of citrus and apple. For the main, we had perfectly-cooked roast rack of lamb with melt-in-the-mouth potato fondant, rainbow chard and a rich red wine sauce. We opted for the paired wine (La Cote Sauvage Cairanne from the Rhone Valley) which was smooth, full flavoured and complemented the lamb perfectly. The dark chocolate delice with creme fraiche and strawberries was just gorgeous, and not overly sweet (the quality of the ingredients at Hispi shines through!) and the whole meal was topped off with a little strawberry and lime pate de fruit. Front-house staff at Hispi are terrific - they know exactly how long to allow between courses, and we appreciated (and accepted) the offer of a little break before dessert. Exactly the right level and amount of information was given about the dishes and wines on serving. So to sum up: the food is imaginative, perfectly cooked and presented, and expertly served in a warm and welcoming environment. What more could anyone want?

Fantastic Mother's Day roast . Loved it. Polite feedback though, was that for mains 2 x beef dishes and 2 x fish dishes 1 x veggie .. but no roast chicken , pork or lamb options , which was limiting for 1 of guest on our table. Otherwise the beef was perfectly cooked and the crab cake starter amazing.

Food was average £380 bill is not really justified considering all we had was three glasses of wine and one of the main courses was a bit of broccoli . You live and learn.

The food was amazing and delicious and the atmosphere was extremely chilled and relaxed we didn't feel pressured in any way. The staff were amazing and friendly a lovely way to spend a lunch time. Will definitely go back.

Another excellent dining experience from the wonderful team at Hispi. We opted for the Lunch (rather than the Bistro) menu which offers a good range of dishes (including vegetarian). My curd crowdie on charred focaccia was a light and delicious starter, followed by braised featherblade of beef which melted in the mouth. Hispi servings are just the right amount for us; two courses are sufficient but we can never resist a Hispi dessert and opted for the parkin. This was a good choice (less heavy than the parkin I remember from childhood), and the subtle ginger flavour was enhanced by exceptional vanilla ice cream and butterscotch sauce. We opted for the recommended wine pairing for our mains (Chardonnay for my partner and Malbec for me) and tawny port to accompany dessert, all of which complemented the food perfectly. We were served by Jasmine, who could not have been more helpful or attentive and did the best possible job (thank you!).

Never fails to disappoint. The roasts here are top. The matching wine suggestions with each item on each course were very good. The childrens meals were also excellent.
