HK Lounge Bistro has been reborn in the SoMa district. We specialize in handmade Dim Sum and Hong Kong Style Chinese cooking.

Reservations:
Walk-in are welcome but reservations are highly recommended. You may also call the restaurant and speak with our host for availability.

Every single dish was so good, except the siu mai. It was bit disappointing. Overall it was good. Lucky we reserved a table.

Came here for valentine’s day & the food was amazing. Wonton soup was flavored perfectly, pork belly wasn’t too fatty. Thanks so much!

We were greeted warmly and cordially as soon as we walked into the restaurant. The server was attentive, efficient and kind. The dim sum was brought to the table freshly hot and was delicious. It was a delightful lunch and look forward to returning.

We’ve left a little disappointed. The food was okay but not mind-blowing (Peking duck is pretty tasty though). The service was a little lacking, for example we’ve tried to flag a waiter for a check for like 10 minutes if not more. The place is on the smaller side and I’d recommend it for a business dinner but not really for a date.

Another great experience! Had dim sum and all the dishes were executed with great care. The shrimp and pork dumplings (siu mai) and har gao (shrimp dumplings) are the best I’ve had. Our favorites are fried shrimp in tofu skin (sublime!), chow fun, pea sprouts in garlic…the steamed custard buns are a must. Service is efficient and attentive, parking is not too hard weekends are easier than weekdays. Also, dinner is great here!

Mixed experience: pork baos were tasty, Vegetarian curry samosas were tasty, Pork belly appetizer was melt in your mouth amazing, xlb was good, tamago tofu with mushrooms very tasty, but downhill from there: shrimp and scallops were fresh but bland, the long beans flavor was bland and not crispy and the ribeye chow fun had no flavor and barely any meat. The experience did not live up to the hype. Great service, small room restaurant.

Amazing Chinese food, particularly the seafood! The seafood map-po may be my favorite dish, but the tofu with sea bass and the various crab preparations are all outstanding! The dumplings are all delicious, and don’t miss the black sesame dumpling for desert!
