   Another great experience at Holm. We took friends who had never been before and they will be returning. Service was stunning too.....just the right degree of friendliness without being overwhelming. Lunch menu is great value for such good quality food.

   We had Sunday lunch, 2 courses main and dessert. Really hit the spot and met expectations, which were high. I had the beef, which was the best I’ve had in a long time. Great vibe and great service.

   Having eaten several times at Holm for lunch we took advantage of a birthday gift voucher to sample the Chef’s Tasting Menu on a Friday evening. The menu was a delightful voyage of discovery with each course distinctively delicious, and the service as ever was friendly - a lovely way to spend the evening.

   As we were staying nearby, we made a booking, having seen chef Balfe on GBM. We were not disappointed - lovely set up, great food, friendly service, and the set menu was great value for money. Highly recommended

   Amazing food, surpassed expectations. Lovely atmosphere, casual, modern with the character of a Somerset village town house. Their take on venison lasagne worked perfectly. Mango sorbet not over sweet, but rich with fruit and silky smooth. So glad we have eateries like this locally. It’s a fraction more dear than a gastro pub, but the quality of ingredients, creativity and cooking incomparable. Just go.

   Fabulous food and very friendly, attentive staff. We were worried we wouldn't manage a 7 course tasting menu, but the amount of food was perfect. The thing that let it down was that it was quite cold in the restaurant and the wooden chairs weren't comfortable at all. The padded bench was comfortable but I couldn't have sat on the chair for the whole meal. My husband was on the chair and I was on the padded bench, I swapped with him for 1 course to give him a break but then sat next to him on the bench because my back was seizing up from the chair. New chairs and a warmer temperature would have made the experience perfect.
