Holm is inspired by nature and our surroundings in the beautiful South West of England. We are driven by provenance, sustainability and warm hospitality. Our aim is to serve delicious food and drinks in a casual yet refined environment.

The food at Holm will be driven by the seasons, the environment and our locality in the beautiful Somerset countryside. We work with local farmers, growers, butchers, gamekeepers, fishermen and anyone who shares our love of exceptional ingredients, treated with care and respect.

Our wine list is focused, well-chosen and sensibly priced with low intervention, organic and biodynamic wines from small artisanal producers.

    We can be found in the village of South Petherton, 5 minutes from the Hayes End roundabout on the A303, approximately 3 hours drive from London. We are 15 minutes by taxi from Crewkerne Station, 20 minutes from Yeovil Junction Station, 30 minutes from Castle Cary Station.<br /><br />If you are planning on booking a taxi to and from Holm for your visit, please let the person who takes the booking or confirms your booking know, we can then manage your booking times for you and communicate with the taxi firm about timings for you, if you wish.

    Join us on Fridays and Saturdays at HOLM Somerset where we will be exclusively serving our stunning Chef's Tasting Menu. With a focus on Somerset's finest quality products from local growers and farmers, our team will guide you through the seven course menu. There are options to accommodate for all dietary requirements as well as enhance your meal with a supplemental signature cheese plate and/or drinks pairings. Our drinks are exclusively small-estate British and European spirits and wines grown vintages, carefully selected to complement and enhance your evening. We look forward to welcoming you for what we promise to be a culinary experience to remember!

    The Autumn / Winter update of our popular summer series: Join us for a casual, keenly priced set menu, served for your table to share. You will enjoy a rustic, abundant meal, with an emphasis on hearty, comforting dishes, befitting of the season. Sample Menu: Nduja croquettes, aioli Holm charcuterie, pickled autumn vegetables Roast pumpkin, brown butter agrodulce Focaccia, garlic butter Venison lasagne Bitter leaf salad, blue cheese dressing Autumn pavlova of spiced pear, chestnuts & brown sugar meringue Please note, this is a set menu event with some dishes served to share for the table. We will try our best to account for dietary requirements, but please notify us when booking. Please arrive promptly for a 7pm start.

    Lovely local restaurant with excellent food. Welcoming staff and relaxed ambiance. We've visited in summer and autumn and both times, the food was fantastic. Would highly recommend!

    Thank you! Table for 5, family 21st birthday celebration for our youngest son. Delightful in every respect! Friendly and attentive service, seamless timing, professional but unhurried. Every element of every dish was delicious, well balanced, meticulously presented and supported by some wonderful wine choices. Great ambience, lighting and artwork, simple but stylish furniture and a handsome building. Our 4th visit, what a privilege to have Holm in our village. 5 very happy diners!

    My second visit to this super restaurant. I'm from Weymouth and it's ideally placed as a lunch venue to meet friends from north Somerset. The menu is thankfully short and well balanced with interesting touches like salt cod beignets and delicious venison tartare. Loved it and will be back!

    excellent food, interesting & delicious. Imaginative decoration & use of the building provides a change from the coaching inns typically used for restaurants in this area, and creates a very metropolitan feel. We look forward to returning....

    Holt @ South Petherton is simply amazing. The food delicious, the service from Shaun and his team was personable and professional. Set in an old bank, the decor pleasant to the eye. We had a lovely evening.

    Really lovely food in a lovely setting but service let's it down. Shaun was brilliant but the rest were inattentive and one of the waiters was actaully quite rude. Had to constantly ask for more water, missed explanation of what food was, didn't ask if we needed anything etc. If you are staying consider which room you are in as if you stay over the restaurant the booming music starts at 7am!
