Holm is inspired by nature and our surroundings in the beautiful South West of England. We are driven by provenance, sustainability and warm hospitality. Our aim is to serve delicious food and drinks in a casual yet refined environment.

The food at Holm will be driven by the seasons, the environment and our locality in the beautiful Somerset countryside. We work with local farmers, growers, butchers, gamekeepers, fishermen and anyone who shares our love of exceptional ingredients, treated with care and respect.

Our wine list is focused, well-chosen and sensibly priced with low intervention, organic and biodynamic wines from small artisanal producers.

    We can be found in the village of South Petherton, 5 minutes from the Hayes End roundabout on the A303, approximately 3 hours drive from London. We are 15 minutes by taxi from Crewkerne Station, 20 minutes from Yeovil Junction Station, 30 minutes from Castle Cary Station.<br /><br />If you are planning on booking a taxi to and from Holm for your visit, please let the person who takes the booking or confirms your booking know, we can then manage your booking times for you and communicate with the taxi firm about timings for you, if you wish.

With a focus on Somerset's finest quality products from local growers and farmers, our team will guide you through a seven course menu. We can accommodate for most dietary requirements as well as enhance your meal with a supplemental signature cheese plate and/or drinks pairings. Our drinks are exclusively small-estate British and European spirits and wines grown vintages, carefully selected to complement your evening. We look forward to welcoming you for what we promise to be a culinary experience to remember! Please inform us of any dietary requirements at the time of booking. Due to the nature of our menu we may not be able to accommodate last minute amendments.

    Breaking the journey to London, Holm is great. Easy parking on-street adjacent to the restaurant. Dog friendly too. Deliciously fresh trout tartare then a pappardelle with a perfectly Italian ragu enriched with chicken livers made an ideal mid-week lunch. (Even a table-side water bowl for the dog). Service was fast and we were on the way again in just over an hour.

    Service was slow & the ambiance was a little lacking. Food was OK but lacked a little finesse.

    Have visiited 4 or 5 times and has always been very good. Food/service/atmosphere is all as you would expecr from such a top class place. Had tasting menu and my party of 4 loved every course. At £100 each including wine and coffee at top end for price but in my opinion worth it.

    Creative and beautifully cooked and presented. Lovely ambience and character- although a bit hard-edged. A very special destination.

    Everything was very nice… The only thing that I would say is that the testing menu we had on the night change based on what was online.

    Thank you Virgil. That's really useful feedback. The menu online does state that it is a Sample Menu but I take your point that it could be misleading if there are a lot of differences. We aim to update the Sample Menus weekly but this isn't always the case if we are busy and/or short staffed. Apologies for any inconvenience caused.     Lovely local restaurant with excellent food. Welcoming staff and relaxed ambiance. We've visited in summer and autumn and both times, the food was fantastic. Would highly recommend!
