Holts Café celebrates Canadian cuisine with a European influence. Our vision of the restaurants and their cuisine is focused on sustainability, quality-driven ingredients, locality, and seasonality.

The menus will pay homage to Holts Café classics and staples with a warm, inviting, fresh, and simplistic approach. Service times include brunch and lunch at all cafés, as well as afternoon tea and an expanded evening dinner service at select locations—all in a refined, contemporary environment.

It is the celebration of my birthday. Overall it is good. I had 3 friends together. Food is good. The service was not good as I expected. I talked with waitress and then she changed , which is good thing. I will come again.

I enjoyed the afternoon tea a lot. The sandwiches were nicely presented. I particularly liked the prawn and cucumber sandwich. I got the holts blend tea and it was tasty and not too strong. I also liked three of the four desserts. The yuzu crème brulee was great! I didn’t finish the scones but I took them home. The place was quiet and we had great conversations as well! Overall a great experience!

The Jo Malone Afternoon tea was exceptional, with quality ingredients and pastry work. Comparable to some of our favorite afternoons teas in the UK.

We have always enjoyed Holt's Café until yesterday when the food was inedible. My wife ordered a winter salad, paid extra for avocado, there was supposed to be kale (missing) result; mixed lettuce drowned with vinaigrette. I ordered a simple Holt's burger medium rare (as offered by our server); a thin slab of over-cooked minced meat, our server (who deserved 5 stars) agreed and changed it.. the replacement: a thin slab totally over-salted and inedible... for which they didn't charge. Our server was excellent and understood we had valid complaints, we passed him speaking to the manager (who ignored us) on our way out. The truffle fries were delicious, the supposed garlic/mayo DIP was obviously from a bottle.

Holts Cafe is a secret gem. Upscale setting, food and service with approachable pricing and menu. For a retreat from the city buzz, while in the city, this restaurant never disappoints.
