Holts Café celebrates Canadian cuisine with a European influence. Our vision of the restaurants and their cuisine is focused on sustainability, quality-driven ingredients, locality, and seasonality.

The menus will pay homage to Holts Café classics and staples with a warm, inviting, fresh, and simplistic approach. Service times include brunch and lunch at all cafés, as well as afternoon tea and an expanded evening dinner service at select locations—all in a refined, contemporary environment.

I was not told that the Jo Malone tea is not avaliable on weekends until I arrived for my reaervation. My friend and I were disappointed. I had messaged Holt cafe via Open table and stated as I am pescatarian, I would like to replace the roasted turkey sandwhich with a second sea food option if possible. They said thank you for reserving the high tea and yes they can make that accomadation. That conversation was nearly six days ago and would have been the perfect time to state that the high tea isnt avaliable Mondays.

Servers were professional and knowledable and accommodated my friend who has a baby stroller. Overall the tea service was great. Some suggestions would be the scones are a little over baked and the petit fours are a tad decadent. Will come back again!

Pancetta on the Caesar salad was burnt. The crab croquette are mostly potato and little crab.

As always great spot to relax and have a bite and a drink. I usually would give 5 stars but the Vegetarian Frittata Was lacking in flavour and the avocado addition was odd. The service was excellent

I love the Cafe and have been going there for years for lunch, happy hour etc. I have always enjoyed the food, service, ambiance and swish banquet seating. However today I joined a good friend there for the Jo Malone Tea. It was so disappointing! The sandwiches were nothing special and somewhat tasteless. The pastries were so-so. But worst of all was the tea service. If you are going to serve afternoon tea, a nice elegant pot would be a better idea with pretty bone China cups. For $78 per person, lukewarm tea that is weak and served in utilitarian one cup pot is simply not worth it. There was nothing special about this tea service whixh had any element of Jo Malone to it. My guest and i thought it was a rip off. Only the glass of Prosecco (which was an added $20 each) was lovely. I hope if enough people complain, perhaps Holts will improve the experience, because it could be so much better. As is, not worth the $240 bill (with tip and tax.) Simply a rip-off trading on the Jo Malone name.

I have been dining at Holt's Cafe for years. The quality of the service & food remains consistent. Highly recommend for a business lunch or to meet up with friends. Don't forget to order the truffle fries. Absolutley the best!
