Honu never disappoints! We usually dine here once or twice during our trips, but this time, we booked three visits—it’s just that good! The staff is incredibly friendly, and the food was outstanding. The fish special was delicious, with well-balanced and creative flavors. The homemade apple pie à la mode, crafted by a local, was absolutely delightful. Well done, Honu—you truly embody the spirit of Aloha! Mahalo!

I was so happy to return to Lahaina and find Honu open for dinner. We made a reservation and requested "ocean if possible" for our table. It worked! We were seated in the perfect spot right next to the water. The food is always fabulous there. I can't resist the ahi tuna bruschetta.

My husband and I found this jewel last October just after they opened. We liked it so much we canceled reservations for other places 5 different times just to go back. We came back on Feb. 21 st and have 5 reservations again. This is by far one of the best restaurants on the Island. The hostess remembered us immediately and one our favorite servers Mickey came over to say hi and give me hug. The entire dining experience you will love and the food is amazing. We always get the cornmeal crusted oysters, my husband loves the burger and truffle fries and fish and chips. I usually get the chefs seafood special of the day. The Chef is amazing and understands food, some of the best we’ve ever had. Last night we took the banana coconut cream pie back home and enjoyed it after our walk. This is the first dessert we’ve had there, and it was delicious.

My favorite restaurant. All was good. Except: The fish Dori was different this time. Both my husband and I ordered it and were disappointed in our meal. Breading was different and sauce was running and no flavor. Not its usual meal? We have eaten there three times in the past two months and always so enjoyable. The desserts were amazing. Also a suggestion: please put table lights on outside tables at night. We are regular customers from day one and truly one of my favorite restaurants.
