Way surpassed expectations. The food was amazing. Best ossobuco I've had in years. The wine list is small but excellent and fairly priced. Our server was wonderful and quite knowledgeable. Many of the staff, both front-end rear are from Lahaina Grill. With that you can't go wrong. An altogether wonderful experience. We can't wait to go back.

My experience at Honu was perfection. From the moment we arrived, the staff, particularly Millie our waiter and Pam, our sommelier, made us feel incredibly special. They were attentive and genuinely engaged in our dining experience. The food was nothing short of amazing; each dish was beautifully presented and bursting with flavor, the cocktail to start the evening was fantastic!! The combination of outstanding service and exquisite cuisine solidified Honu as a must-visit destination for a world class experience on Maui!

Always a wonderful dining experience at Honu. Food quality and presentation are outstanding and our server, Gerry, made great recommendations. Gerry and the kitchen staff also created a relaxed flow of courses - which allowed us to fully enjoy our evening. Mahalo Honu!

Very pricey specials and high price for a glass of wine. Special was delicious but glad we shared one and did not order two.

So grateful they were able to open back up after the devastating fire in old Lahaina. Beautifu, Oceanside dining, everything is delicious and fresh, staff are friendly and attentive,

Started with oyster shooters, which were a delicious surprise! Loved the ahi bruschetta, which was tasty and original. We each got the day boat scallops, which were truly outstanding and impressive: perfectly cooked, and the accompanying mushrooms in their sauce made for a luscious dinner. Finally, the best dessert of out vacation: that coconut cream pie…sigh! Two quibbles: the mai tai was disappointing; just not enough flavor and depth. Also, a restaurant like this deserves a somewhat softer-surfaced ambiance, so you can hear your dinner companion talking. This place was just too loud and a bit too casual for such refined food.
