   H&N is my family’s go-to seafood restaurant. Lobster rolls better than going to Kennebunkport or Boston and for a great price! The food is the frills. Great drinks! Amazing value for the amount of food. Great service that makes you feel welcome and appreciated as a diner. We have been here for date nights, family get together, birthdays, and a Tuesday night dinner. Take out will satisfy your craving, but like all takeout, it’s not as great as dining at the restaurant.

   We enjoy very much our lunch, highly recommended the lobster roll and the clam chowder soup! Also the crabby party sandwich was good! The server was very nice and very friendly, helpful with the answers to our questions since it was our first time eating here! We’re for sure coming back!

   Food was delicious, cooked and served right off the grill. I had the lobster bisque soup and their Newport seafood salad.

   The food and service were excellent! Our group of 4 all ordered a different main dish and each was delicious. Nothing is worse than having to search for your server and not being able to find him or her. This was NOT the case at Hook and Anchor. Sam and the runners provided attentive and timely service. I highly recommend making a reservation since the restaurant can be busy. All in all, everything was perfect for our visit.

   Had heard great things about Hook and Anchor and it didn’t disappoint. The fish and chips were the best… but I’m definitely going back for the Lobster Roll.

   Food overall was underwhelming, the 6oz lobster roll was amazing and is clearly the most popular, however the fries were under seasoned and bland. But, the lobster carbonara was poorly seasoned and lacked any flavor. Ambience was fine but when a lobster roll is $50 you would expect a better vibe.

    This place lives up to the hype!Saw this place on Instagram and tried it for our 35th wedding anniversary. I had the best "Alfredo" sauce (Shrimp Alfredo) i have ever had. Fantastic flavor and was not some overdone cream smear so many other placespass off. The clam chowder was not only stellar in taste (nice portion too), but gluten free (this helped my wife enjoy). Next time I am getting the lobster roll as it looked nothing short of perfection
