Hook and Vine is a neighborhood restaurant in North Beach, MD that provides a comfortable escape from the day with good food, good drinks, and good company.
I dreamt of a place that I could share my love of food and drinks with the community. With many years in the industry, I started planning my dream restaurant. I found the perfect place near the Chesapeake Bay in North Beach, Maryland.
The family-oriented atmosphere and warm welcome will be a fun and delicious destination for everyone. Home away from home!
Southern coastal cuisine with a focus on fresh seafood, bacon, bourbon, and wine. Menu inspired by the community - choose a new favorite dish each visit. Local beer on tap; delicious cocktails; and not your average wine list.

The food was well prepared. Appreciated that there were some vegan options on the menu. Good variety of items from salads and veg dishes to shrimp and seafood to burgers. The reason for 4 not 5 is a service pet peeve of dirty dishes and silverware from first course not being bussed even though water and beverages refilled and not even when main dish was brought. Lots of people working hard and hustling bringing things, but leaving tables empty handed. It's that one aspect that keeps it for me being top-notch service/ambiance. But overall good food, friendly service, creative bar, nice wines, beers, and non alcoholic beverages.

Traveled from Pennsylvania to visit with my sister (lives in the area). It was worth the trip and an experience for both of us. Our server(s) Monica and Kelly went beyond the call of duty! I was informed by the choices for gluten-free meals (Monica). As for the dessert, I had the flourless chocolate cake, a delightful bite through and through. My sister, enjoyed her blueberry… Overall, the pleasant, warm and welcoming! I highly recommend a visit there; I (we) will be BACK!!! THANK you H and V!

Definitely a go to restaurant for us! The food and service have been consistently wonderful! It's a fun, festive, friendly restaurant. Great food, fun drinks. Great for date night, or out with friends. Great value as well.

Crab cakes were good. My wife loved the Shrimp ‘n Grits. Our server, Andrew, went above and beyond to ensure everything was to our liking.

Very unpleasant experience. I've been a regular since the day Hook & Vine opened. Abby RUINED my Anniversary dinner with my wife. Abby was extraordinarily rude. Her behavior was unprovoked and reprehensible. The server we had blew off Abby's behavior by saying, "She's young." No, she's just rude. Didn't bother getting a manager. We just left.
