We offer a specialist yakitori menu at dinner - skewers of free-range, slow-reared chicken over hot charcoal on our custom-made hibachi - as well as classic izakaya dishes, including miso black cod and tempura, accompanied by a curated selection of wines, Japanese sakes and whiskies. Please note we have a different menu for lunch which features a range of bento boxes and selected a la carte items.

Our signature beak-to-tail menu features 17 Yakitori cuts. This set requires 2 working days advance booking, and a 50% deposit. Please book your table, and leave a note at the booking, and our team will respond and confirm accordingly.

We do everything we can to manage the smoke from our hibachi. At busy times, the restaurant can occasionally get smoky. If that is a problem, please let your server know so they can move your table and put your items in the cloakroom.

                                                                    The yakitori was excellent (succulent chicken oyster was a favourite), but I thought the non-yakitori parts of the menu were just as good, if not better. Highlights for me were the black cod and yellowtail. Interesting and reasonably priced wine list.

                                                                    Really great Yakitori restaurant in City, food excellent, well presented with good service. Only drawback is restaurant got a bit smoky with all the grilling, maybe needs to upgrade the ventilation a bit.

                                                                    An absolutely sublime meal, the craft, care, passion and artistry demonstrated in the service, food and ambience completely outstanding. Meltingly delicious wagyu beef, sweetly umami glazed miso cod flaking in perfectly cooked translucent chunks, meaty but tender and delicate mackerel and stunning chicken yakitori just a few of the highlights. Service from a coherent, warm and sensitive team was modest, respectful and engaged; we were served by who I believe was the owner; utterly charming, warm, elegant and responsive, informing our experience and articulating the features of the food and the wine with welcome insight and great good humour, wit and delightful radiance. Thank you so much!

                                                                    It's very close to something good. The service was anarchic. Given a sake menu. I'm not sure what happened but I got whatever sake they had with no indication of price. Wife ordered a glass of sparkling. On her second glass they brought her a different wine. On her third they brought us two glasses of the original one. Food - the pickle and tempura vegetables are quite a small portion with no duplication so not even suitable for sharing. The meatball also single portion which was unexpected given the cost. The beef tataki was dreadful. Very poor quality cut off meat. The chicken Hotori set was however exceptionally well cooked if a tad small again. Tad heavy on the salt. We choose our favourites and ordered more. They brought entirely different cuts than the ones we asked for. The restaurant is a bit souless and toilets very run down. Great chicken, if expensive, everything else poor

                                                                    Amazing food, totally loved this authentic experience. Somehow there is a slightly uneven wait time between the different yakitori courses but it was made up for the excellent quality of the grilled meat.

                                                                    The food was delicious and authentic! Love the unique parts of chicken they offered. The only down side is the smoke smell was strong within the restaurant as they have open kitchen. It would be much better if they can improve their  ventilation. Will visit next time :)
