Located on the corner of Glenstone Ave./Kearney St. in Springfield, Missouri next to the Doubletree Hotel and Glendalough Conference Center, Houlihan’s is an inviting and comfortable space to hang out in our bar or dine on a delicious meal from the scratch kitchen. During the warm weather days, our relaxing patio is just the spot to sip on a signature martini and enjoy an appetizer. At Houlihan's, there are many fine entrées such as seared Ahi tuna, a savory steak and wedge salad, the stacked Kansas City cheeseburger or our famous garlic-herb cream cheese stuffed chicken, just to name a few!

This is my second time here on a road trip and I will keep coming back. The staff is always so nice and friendly. The food is great - I had chicken tortilla soup and fish tacos which were superb. They have a ton of food items to choose from and the staff alone makes it worthwhile to stop here for a meal.

Food was great, service was primary problem. Server lacked personality and punctuality, felt like I was interacting with someone who didn't want to be there. Steaks were cooked perfectly, appetizers could have been cooked a little longer (boneless wings were under in some parts and didn't have as much of a crunch). Overall great experience, looking forward to dining again.

Made a 7pm reservation on a Friday night. When we arrived there were only about 4 other smaller tables. We were sat next to the bar. It took our server Cheyenne just shy of 10 minutes to greet our table and her attitude was awful. If she hates her job then she needs to find a new one. I asked to know what ciders were on tap since they were out of the one I wanted, she never came back to the table to let me know. We put in our order at 7:18. An appetizer, and 2 entrees. At 7:57 we still had not even received our appetizer and the gentleman behind us that was sitting alone she not only served way more often than our table he had gotten his appetizer meal and dessert and even paid to leave by the time we got up and left. I had a water to drink because I was waiting on the beer list and she took my water cup off the table and never brought it back. I even reminded her twice and she walked past my table with 2 other drink orders in that time!! This was a very special night for us and our first time attempting to eat here and it just was not what we were expecting

Food was quite good. Between three of us, we had the chicken picatta, the scallops, a salad with fruit and a spinach dip. Server, Cheyenne, was either new or very distracted. We all had to repeat our order several times. Drinks from the bar arrived after our appetizer, and she couldn't remember who ordered what. Manager came to visit the table, but when we answered that the meal was good, he was busy looking around the room and didn't seem to actually care. I was overcharged by $10.50 and had to have my bill adjusted. Server didn't even apologize. She dropped food from someone else's dirty plate on the floor by our booth when clearing our dishes and left it there. Overall, food was tasty (and hot, which in itself is a rarity anymore), but service was blah. Wasn't a welcoming experience. Doubtful we'll return.

We had an excellent evening at Houlihans in Springfield. We’d been driving all day so just wanted something close to our hotel. Not knowing the local volume, I booked a table on Open Table for the two of us. It was the right thing to do as it was starting to fill up, and we were tucked away in a booth, which was perfect for us. We had a couple of cocktails, and then a couple more. Our server, Cora, was attentive without being intrusive. We ordered some great food, and quickly dismissed the long day we had already been through and felt ready for the next day of driving. We couldn’t have chosen better. Well done, Houlihans.
