House 406 is a modern American restaurant perfect for your next date night. Our extensive spirits, wine & beer list offer something for everyone.

Please note that all outdoor reservations will be made either in our heated tent or open air seating with additional heaters. All reservations will be limited to 1 hour and 45 minutes. Parties later then 15 minutes will forfeit their table.

The service and the food were excellent. A limited menu is preferable. The noise level was excessive, which distracted from all the other excellent qualities of the restaurant

My wife and I joined friends for dinner at House 406. I had never been there before. My wife had been there once before and our friends had not been there for a long time. We were all impressed. I had the Whitefish, which was excellent, but may have had a bit too much Horseradish-Parmesan sauce on it. My wife had the Salmon and she loved it. Our friends both had the burger, which looked awesome and they said that it was. We were very impressed with the Onion Rings -- delicious! Service was good, not great. The noise level increased greatly as more tables were filled. House 406 is now on our radar. We will be back so I can try the burger!

We absolutely adore House 406! The food is consistently incredible, and as a cocktail enthusiast, I’m always impressed by their expertly crafted drinks. What truly sets it apart, though, is the intimate atmosphere — the cozy, small space creates a special vibe, reminiscent of the charming boutique restaurants you find in places like Chicago and New York. House 406 has earned my highest recommendation — it’s exactly the kind of spot the suburbs could use more of!

Food was delicious. Menu options were a bit limited, as well as cocktail options. But they do have a good spirit variety so you can ask to have just about anything done. Great experience overall.
