Howard's Café in Kansas City, Missouri is part restaurant, part grocery store. If you're dining in, the menu at Howard's Café includes soups, fries and burgers. One very popular option is the fried chicken sandwich. It's made on a potato bun with pea shoots, balsamic marinated sweet onions and BBQ mayo. Another very popular menu item at Howard's Café is the slow roasted pork panini. The pork is sandwiched between pickled red onion, ricotta cheese and pea shoot pesto. If you don't meat, try the veggie burger and/or the green salad. Of the two different soup options that are prepared each day, one of them is always vegan, too.
