Huarachis Taqueria is the vibrant sister restaurant of Bacanora PHX, founded by James Beard Award-winning Chef Rene Andrade and his talented team. This isn’t your typical taqueria—it’s a place where authentic flavors meet creative cocktails and a diverse menu featuring tacos, huaraches, tortas, and hearty platters. Here, you can even treat yourself to our fun twist on dessert with concha ice cream.     El elote y el dip de frijol estuvo delicioso. Ordenamos dos vampiros de trompo y nos dieron tacos regulares y no eran de trompo pero el mesero nunca se acercó a nosotros para ver si todo estaba bien así que nos lo comimos. El mesero no estuvo al pendiente fue la experiencia mala que tuvimos solamente el servicio. Era nuestra segunda vez y la primera nos sentamos en la barra y todo estuvo perfecto.

    Very interesting menu with great cocktails and the food was fantastic. The menu was a slight challenge to understand regarding what was family portions versus individual serving options. Definitely authentic cuisine. Tacos were great with the best refried beans we’ve had in years.

    Great food, terrific carnitas, excellent service and the pastry/bread used for the ice cream sandwich was fluffy/soft. Would definitely go here again

    We had reservations for six and was immediately seated. The host was friendly and courteous. Chase was our server. He was friendly and helpful. We ordered the Bistec Ranchero - 28 oz bone in ribeye, salsa ranchera, elote papas al disco, salsa bandera, huarachis beans cebolla , and chilitos; Pescados, Papa, Lala Lengua, and Tripa Tacos; Huarachis Beans; and Papas al Disco - huarachis seasoning, baja crema, olive oil chiltepin, and queso cotija. The service and food were excellent. A memorable evening. Thank you Huarachis Taqueria!!!

    Fun experience .. their dishes were right on .. but we were sorta on the fence with the seating because it was bit uncomfortable.. with the high ticket price , we thought it would be better seating.., but overall enjoyed ourselves.. loved the Sonoran vibe We’ll be back

    The food was amazing, with more of a Mexican comfort food offering compared to their highly acclaimed sister restaurant, Bacanora. Flavorful, unique, and pleasing to the eye. The signature drinks were strong, complex and satisfying. Be warned, if an entree has a higher price, it’s for good reason. We made the mistake of ordering carne asada fries, 8 tacos and a few starters/sides and ended up going home with 3 boxes of food for the four of us to indulge in the next day. The jicama salad was a highlight of the meal while serving as a great palate cleanser with its refreshing yet spicy flavors. This restaurant has become a top contender on our list of local spots around Phoenix for special occasions and showing visitors what our amazing city has to offer for gastro culture. Do yourself a favor and get in here ASAP!
