Our server, Monty, was exceptional. Drink refills were timely, and he handled our food order in expert fashion. We had a lovely lunch!

Our table for 6 was ready right on time, and our server was excellent- attentive and prompt and friendly. She was quite professional. We’ve eaten there many times and the food was, as usual, delicious. We never felt rushed, and we never felt neglected! The other story is that when I made this reservation, the system had no tables for 6 available at the time I needed, so I grabbed one for 4 and one for 2. I wrote a brief comment to Hudson House - Lakewood that it was a disappointment. Within an hour I received a notice and an updated email that my reservation had been changed to 6! I keep dining there because of customer service over all categories. Rande

Very special dinner as we were celebrating a godmother proposal. Our server was kind. Food was ok. Quite mediocre for the price point. We had the steak frites and red fish. Drinks were great! Manager ruined the experience…rude and radiates bad energy. Definitely needs to fine tune her people skills. We were signing the check and shuffling to gather our things and she still comes by to basically say I’m not asking you to leave but you need to leave. We were there an hour and a half and our reservation was 4:00. Anyways, we’ll be sticking to TownHearth Brass Ram, and Neighborhood Services in the future.

Lemon Drop Martini’s are a MUST HAVE! Oysters are amazing! Burgers are top notch! We love the ambience, but Christmas was definitely HOPPING, so the noise level was a little more than normal, but it was a festive and fun, so not loud in a bad way. Great place anytime, but highly recommend for special occasions. Love the Lakewood location.

I always enjoy my meals at any location of Hudson House. We loved our server, Adam, at the Lakewood location. I had the burger for the first time, and it did not disappoint. My friends ordered French chicken and the redfish, both delicious.

They basically pushed us out the door. Told us we had a time limit then kept asking when we were leaving. Very rude. Enjoyed our night with the food and service but so rude to push customers out.

Thanks for visiting us at Hudson House - Lakewood. We're sorry to hear about your experience. It's not the kind of service we aim to provide. Although our 90 minute policy is sent with reservations and told to our guests, I know it can be an issue when people are having a great experience. We do try to be respectful to all of our guests by keeping to the policy so that reservations are kept, however it shouldn't be to the detriment of any guest experience.
