As the only waterfront dining experience, with front-row view of the Award-Winning Westpoint Harbor Marina, you will enjoy serene delightful and casual-elegant dining experience in the Redwood City.
Named after the famous and majestic Hurrica V sailboat, the design inspiration of teak wooden walls evoke a sense of warmth and
Executive Chef Justin Baade took his love of 'live-fire' cooking by building a custom hearth offering seafood, steak and vegetables either smoked, grilled or cooked in the embers.
Housing the largest, privately owned jellyfish tank, it's a memorizing experience to see the baby jellyfish upclose and personal.
Take a moment to enjoy the custom artwork from various artists and mediums such as wired fish artwork from the Wirelady, or commissioned mosaic artpiece by Angelina Duckett, even our restrooms are a work of art!
We want our guests to have a unique and immersive experience, no only culinary but visually!

    What a beautiful building! Love the classy decor. Food was great, space is great, loved the jelly fish in the aquarium. Definitely will be back. Great place for us to get together for mom’s night out!

    Good experience overall. Nice atmosphere and location. Service was excellent, staff very attentive. Overall food quality was great. Shellfish chowder was excellent to start. Wife oredered the cod, which was good but a bit fishy.i ordered the short rib which was rich and quite filling, paired well with the merry Edward’s Pinot noir. Wines by the glass were pricey. Nice restaurant for a nice evening out. Very noisy inside.

    Hurrica's Restaurant in redwood City is the place to go to view the huge yachts, peaceful surroundings, grand interior, jelly fish tank, and food that is presented in unusual mixtures - all in all a grand experience.

    Exactly what we expected. The staff was attentive, explained about any longer wait times to prepare some of the large “family portion” items and made the experience really enjoyable. The fish and the 250 oz Tomahawk steak were all perfectly cooked and delicious . Compliments to the chef and staff for flawless execution! Great choice for lunch or dinner.

    Nice quiet location next to the bay with plenty of parking. Nice warm atmosphere with nice interior. Asked to be moved to a table next to the windows to get better lighting. Manager was attentive and friendly and had no problems moving us. Service was average and the food was pretty good. Each dish had good presentation and plating. Went for lunch and would like to try having dinner there. We enjoyed our lunch and would recommend this place.

    Spectacular setting. The food was very good. Seafood outstanding. While the menu is smaller in scope, which isn't necessarily a bad thing, a number of the entrees are fried which for someone who is trying to lean into the healthier side that smaller menu starts to feel limiting.
