Here at iâl Restaurant, we are passionate about creating an excellent dining experience whilst caring for our environment. iâl Restaurant offers only the best contemporary cuisine, produced using a mix of home grown and locally sourced Welsh ingredients. Using the Welsh and European Farm to Fork strategy, we farm our own meat, grow our own fruits and vegetables, and produce our own dairy with our colleagues at Northop and Llysfasi farm. In collaboration with Coleg Cambria, we introduce to you a fresh approach to dining, here in the heart of Wrexham town centre. In light relaxing surrounding, submerse yourself with friends and family in our beautiful retreat. Where the music is acoustic and the lights dimmed, come sample our signature 15 hour cooked beef brisket dish or let us choose for you with our weekly specials. If the sound of that doesn't grab your attention, the smell of our fresh focaccia and sourdough we bake everyday will.

    Our famous Bottomless Brunch has a new home on our calendar. The first Saturday of every month, we host an afternoon of laughs, free flowing drinks and scrumptious food. So, looking for a way to catch up with friends, family or evening spending time with colleagues. We've got an offer for you. Two hours of fun food, cocktails & fizz. Songs from the decades on repeat and maybe a sing song from the bar staff (don't hold your breath on that one) What's included: 2 hour time slot per booking Tasty baked goods from ial Bakery One brunch item from the menu Free flowing prosecco, seasonal cocktails and local draught lager Payment of £30 on booking.     This Valentine’s, indulge in an evening of passion and flavor with our Love Bites Tasting Menu at Ial Restaurant. For £80 per person, treat your taste buds to a feast of flavors with show-stopping scallops, melt-in-your-mouth beef fillet, and a playful twist of spiced cherry rum delights. Your evening begins with a complimentary aperitif on arrival, followed by a curated 5-course menu paired with half a bottle of wine per guest. Complete your meal with an indulgent after-dinner cocktail, all in the intimate glow of our romantic setting. Available on Friday, 14th, and Saturday, 15th February, from 5:30 pm.                               great surroundings. open and airy environment. plenty of attendants so getting attention was easy. the food was tasty and warm/hot. the price eceptionally low but understandable since this and out reach of the catering service of the yale/ial educational service. the service is entirely given by the students themselves who are keen and willing to help in any way. I will be going again. very much enjoyed the experience. Warren Burg

                              We visited the Iâl Restaurant to celebrate my wife’s 60th Birthday with our family and we could not have wished for a better experience. The food was truly exquisite and the attention to detail and service by the staff was exceptional. Looking forward to our next visit.

                              We usually have an excellent experience in Restaurant Ial, both in service and food quality. Unfortunately this time we felt both to be lacking. This was a shame as it was our Christmas visit. The main weakness was in the service we received. When we arrived we were greeted and shown to our seats by an over enthusiastic man who appeared to be totally disorganised. We were informed by the lady who took our order that our choice of wine was not available and so we had to settle for a different wine at £10 a bottle more. Throughout the meal we were distracted by the frantic service around us, it appeared that both the male and female servers were trying to accommodate every table instead of having designated areas or jobs. There was a serious lack of extra staff and organisational skills. The calmest influence on the restaurant floor was the young student who has served us there previously I sat and watched an ice cream desert melt after being left on the service area for 15 mins. After we had been there an hour we had only been served our starter course. The main meals were just warm, not hot. Also there seemed to be discrepancies depending which main was chosen. Pork belly stuffed with turkey was really succulent, thickly sliced and a generous portion, whereas the turkey was quite dry, thinly sliced and was accompanied by one tiny pig in a blanket, giving the impression of being an inferior meal. The whole meal had taken so long and we weren’t enjoying the ambience, (music was so loud we had to ask for it to be turned down) so we chose not to have desert or coffee and went home instead.

                              Always a pleasure. Staff attentive, courteous and you can have a laugh with them too. Good value in comparison to most eating establishments - it’s a go to and consistent which is key 👍

                              It's 23rd November and the only food option was the Christmas menu, which I don't think I was told would be the case when I booked. I'm vegetarian, so there was only one option. Saying that, the food was excellent, and we were well looked after. Recommended, but it's more than a month till Christmas and I wanted to choose from their normal menu.
