It’s simple really, our calling card is sustainable Scottish seafood.

Our name comes from the Gaelic word for fish. It’s a wee bit tricky to pronounce, but it’s no bother if guests don’t get it quite right. With delicious fresh produce served by our very own Head Chef, Sean Currie, you'll feel the energy in the way we go about things – our warm welcome, enthusiasm for what we do, and, of course, a splash of Glaswegian banter.

Serving sustainable Scottish seafood is at the heart of everything we do. That’s why £1 on every bill goes to The Firth Forth Lobster Hatchery, who hatch, rear and release lobsters to ensure stocks remain plentiful for future generations. Sea more on Instagram: @lobsterhatchery

Comfortably located in Kimpton Blythswood Hotel, the restaurant shares space with the hotel bar. The service is impeccable and friendly. The food is well-prepared and reasonably priced. All in all, a successful adventure.

Vegetarian options were poor. They did their best to accommodate, but for £100+ for 1 starter, 2 mains, 1 dessert, a mocktail and a soft drink, we were disappointed. The hotel is lovely and the Amiens of the restaurant great, just food was disappointing.

I thoroughly enjoyed my Afternoon Tea, it is a beautiful hotel but felt the service was slow at points and I was having to chase chase staff up rather than feeling we were being catered for.

Had a lovely afternoon for my mums retirement, afternoon tea was fab with a lovely selection of nibbles, and the setting itself is beautiful. Staff were great and very welcoming would highly recommend and will be back

Food was excellent, mussels in a lovely sauce followed by fish and chips. Dry gate beer and a white wine to compliment the meal. Service also very good. The only downside was the seating arrangements. I appreciate at the weekend restaurants are busy but to have the two seater tables so close was a bit uncomfortable as it was difficult to have a private conversation. I personally feel if one set of the two person tables was taken away it would have meant a more enjoyable evening for all.
