Undoubtedly one of Singapore’s classiest establishments, Idlewild is a stylish cocktail bar that pays homage to the glory days of aviation. Located within the stunning InterContinental Singapore in Bugis, Idlewild boasts elegant decor and an energetic atmosphere. The food and cocktails at Idlewild are inspired by the cultures and cuisines of 10 cities found along the famous Transatlantic Route, including New York, Paris, Lisbon and Mexico City. Guests can sample flavourful tapas plates including duck rillette, hazelnut & cheese tortellini and ceviche of scallop. The bar’s signature cocktails tie into the themes of adventure and romance, with the gin-based ‘Shaftesbury Theatre’ a particular highlight. If you are looking to sweep a special someone off their feet, dinner and drinks at Idlewild on Middle Road should do just the trick.
