This beautiful restaurant is a short walk away from Madison Square Park, Il Fiorista means The Florist in Italian, where we explore botanical ingredients in our brunch, dinner, and bar menus. Much like Italian cuisine this allows for local and seasonal produce, we source from the Union Square Greenmarket and local producers. Il Fiorista is open seven days a week for dinner and aperitivo hour, also weekend brunch with indoor and patio seating featuring specials from our extensive wine list and cocktails. Also our private dining is available for large parties and events.

    Our 4-course Chef’s menu is curated especially for your dinner party, small or large. Showcasing of il Fiorista’s most beloved dishes along with specials. This seasonally inspired tasting menu takes you on a journey of classic Italian dishes and fun new Mediterranean cuisines while incorporating botanical elements. In addition we offer a $35 wine pairing for this 4-course menu.

    We loved our dinner experience at Il Fiorista last night. Everything was so good, from our cocktails, salads, main courses, desserts and of course the service! This is possibly one if my favorite places in downtown Manhattan. Love everything about this restaurant!

    We dined at a table of 6 right before the Christmas holidays. The atmosphere was perfectly lit, not too bright or too dim. Our table was not rushed and they let us stand at the bar for a while beforehand even though our table was ready. The appetizers were great, as were the mains, and the dessert! Great wine selection. Loved the vibes, the waitstaff could have been a little more attentive, but it looked like a busy night.

    Food was very good and service was good but waitress was too much in a rush to get drink and food orders. When we took too much times, she acted very annoyed!! We sat next to bathroom so too busy with the bathroom traffic!!

    The pasta is the star here! The rest was average. Service was slow. Sit at the bar and order the white bolognese.

    We went late, 8pm on a Sunday. The food, service, and atmosphere was quiet and lightly festive, just the right amount of cozy and warm on an otherwise busy, noisy New York day. 15/10
