Il Fornaio means "the Baker" in Italian. This award-winning restaurant offers an authentic and unique Italian dining experience. Specialties include wood-fired rotisserie and grilled meats, poultry and game; housemade pastas; pizzas from an oak wood burning oven; fresh salads and housemade soups; a wide variety of desserts; and fresh baked bread made daily from scratch. Winner of the annual Wine Spectator Award of Excellence since 2002.

the service was excellent but the food is absolute garbage. My girlfriend ordered a seafood lasagna that was a disgusting soupy mess. it was like watery mac and cheese that smelled/tasted like a bag of shrimp that was left in a hot car for a day or two. awful. The waiter was super chill about it and offered to bring her something else. Our dishes were edible but not much can be said beyond that. No flavor at all, the pesto tasted like water and oregano, lack of salt. my bolognese was just hamburger meat and canned tomato sauce with poorly cooked pasta. the sauce did not stick to the noodles. not even are friendly, attentive waiter could stop this from being a terrible experience.

Nicole is an excellent server though we felt rushed as she had to go to her next job. Overall however, she was excellent.

Our server, Nino, provided amazing service, for was exceptional especially the seasonal risotto with prawns and artichokes. We couldn't have had a more pleasant evening .

Food - delicious but like most restaurants post covid- expensive for what you actually get on a plate. Service outstanding....

Our waiter was not friendly and not attentive. One guest had very dry over cooked salmon. We had to ask for water and bread and waited a while for that. One guest had the shrimp and scallop plate which had 2 shrimp and 3 small scallops - not sure how that could warrant a $44 cost. Overall disappointing.

Our server was very nice, but VERY slow service, bar was apparently backed up, took over 15 minutes to get a glass of wine. Pizza was undercooked. Chicken was underwhelming. Brussel Sprouts and carpaccio very tasty.

Given the Holiday season, the restaurant was very busy and beautifully decorated for the holidays. The service was excellent despite the crowd. I had branzino and loved it. My partner had swordfish and felt it was overcooked so the waitress encouraged him to send it back and get another order cooked to his liking. The second order was perfect. We also split a caesar salad which was ample for 2.
