Since its inception in 1986, IL FORNELLO Restaurants has always been at the forefront of offering classic Italian fare with a modern flair. We were the first to introduce wood-fired oven pizzas to Toronto and one of the first mainstream restaurants to introduce an extensive plant-based menu. Known for its pizzas and pastas, each of our locations has special menu features tailored to its community and diners. Our menus also accommodate a wide-range of diets, from dairy-free to gluten-free – there’s something for everyone!

Great brunch! The server, Alexandria, is welcoming and provides excellent service. Food was spot on.

Got seated at our table. No one came by to take drink orders. Was really quite a long time before anyone even acknowledged we were seated there. By the time someone finally came by, we were ready to order. If there were daily/weekend specials, we have no idea what they were. For starters, we ordered two salads and a calamari. Then after the appetizers, there was a very long wait for the main courses (a risotto, 2 pizzas, 2 pastas). Overall the food was quite good, it's a shame that the service we received was overall quite lacking.

Lovely lunch, food was delicious, ambiance was perfect and my party had an enjoyable experience overall. Will definitely return.

Everything from the food and service was spectacular. It’s our go-to spot for post-pickeball dinner and the staff are so lovely and the food always knocks it out of the park. Definitely worth it!

Had a great time with friends. Good service. Pizzas never disappoints and we also shared the pasta special that was phenomenal. We were surprised how busy it was and glad to have had a reservation

We had an absolutely delicious dinner at Il Fornello Sherwood Village. Bianca was an exceptional server and the food was so delicious. It’s a hoping place, a bit noisy but certainly great food and service. Will be back.

BEAUTIFUL new restaurant. I love IL Fornellos for years...since the King Street location. However today my pizza was not hot, neither was the cappuccino, which I had to nab random wait staff to ask for because our lovely young wait staff literally dropped us before we had our meals. She made NO effort to rectify this when it was brought to her attention. I was super disappointed. Not sure if the staff are new or not strong in numbers but it was not the positive experience I was anticipating. The Salad was great but the service and the rest of was very disappointing. I hope it gets better for everyone.
