PARKING AVAILABLE IN MOVIE THEATER PARKING LOT ACROSS THE STREET. Parking is 75 cents per hour

Now offering daily a 3 Course pre-fixed EARLY BIRD menu for $39.00 from 4-6PM. This menu is also available for Takeout. We are also doing free delivery within a ONE mile radius of the restaurant.

“Girasole” stands for sunflower in Italian. A flower that grows in abundance in fields all across 4 different provinces in northern Italy. A classic northern Italian trattoria with daily fresh ingredients & house made pasta dishes served w/ stellar service & exceptional wine & specialty drinks. Providing our guests the best in Italian cuisine we have to offer with a combination of 50 years of experience. We have 2 separate dining rooms for you to enjoy a wonderful family meal or for an impressive 1st date dinner before heading across the street to catch a movie at the theater! Our lovely & inviting space offers a full sidewalk cafe patio & a more private 2nd floor terrace patio.

                                                                  We went to Il Girasole for New Year's Eve dinner. The restaurant was full, with every table occupied on both levels. This did not impact the service at all, which was stellar. Our server was attentive and helpful but did not rush us to order and move on so they could turn the table. The food was divine! We started with one of the evening's special, fried zucchini blossoms. Outstanding! We also had the meatballs, and they were OK but not as hot as they might have been. This is the only thing I can say that is less than 100% positive. Our main dishes were a gourmet diner's delight. I had another evening special, a veal chop served with truffle sauce and risotto. I pray that this will be added to the main menu as it was truly extraordinary. My husband had the osso buco, served with saffron risotto and he raved. Our friend had the pork chops with risotto, and he said it was some of the best pork he's had. All three main dishes were cooked and presented perfectly, with very generous portions at prices that I find to be very reasonable for the quality. We shared a lemon sorbet and a tiramisu for dessert, both delicious. The wine list is not extensive, but they had some good bottles at fair prices. The dining rooms, both main floor and upstairs, manage to feel intimate without feeling crowded. We also commented on how the rooms were not overly loud, enabling people to enjoy conversations without having to shout at their dining companions. Run, don't walk to Il Girasole. You'll be glad you do!

                                                                  We absolutely adore this place. Food is always good. The staff is extremely friendly and attentive. They’re also really good with kids. Christian the owner is always such a sweet heart and remembers us every time we come in. We recommend this place to everyone!

                                                                  We had a great experience dining here. The staff was attentive, friendly and helpful. They were all eager to answer any questions. Food was all very good and good portion sizes.

                                                                  I've been eager to try this place since it opened just a few blocks away, and it did not disappoint! I had the Rigatoni Con Salsiccia, and it was absolutely delicious—I can't wait to have it again. The upstairs seating was cozy and perfect for conversation, while downstairs was a bit louder and more crowded. The service was good, though not quite excellent. On the plus side, parking in the nearby cinema garage is only 75¢ an hour, which is a great deal. Overall, a fantastic experience, and I'll definitely be back!

                                                                  The experience started with us not being seated until 45 min after our reservation time. This is a very tight space to waiting that long was not a great start to the experience. The drinks and food were both very good however we felt like the service at the table could have been a little better, water wasn’t regularly refilled as well as drinks.
