Il Posto Ristorante is located on 24th and Dune in Avalon, NJ. Executive chef and owner, Ramiro “Tony” Gonzalez, brings exceptional quality and creativity to each dish. The Vitello il Posto, the Capellini di Sardinia, and the Short Ribs are some of Chef Tony’s most popular entrees.                                                                 Valentine dinner. But the staff was upbeat and the food hot, fresh and delicious. Out server Zooey was attentive and welcoming without hovering. We have eaten at all the restaurants in the group. We found our favorite.

                                                                The food, atmosphere, and our service was impeccable. We are huge fans of all of their restaurants and decided to try this out. So thankful we did! Our waiter, Erol, was very attentive, friendly, and helpful. We will definitely be back because there were so many other things on the menu that we wanted to try!

                                                                Il Posto is one of our favorite places in Avalon. The flounder special was absolutely fabulous. The portions are huge. We are so happy that Il Posto is open during the off season.

                                                                The dinner here was fantastic!! They had an extremely extensive NYE Prix-Fix menu with amazing options, the meals came out quickly and the service was speedy and kind!

                                                                Do not go for New Years Eve! This is usually my favorite restaurant in Avalon so we booked for NYE. No one mentioned it was a prix fixe menu for $85 a person. Nothing special on the menu just $50 more expensive and less options than the food usually there. Also staff was unpleasant and seating jammed in for the crowd. Food was good but no reason for it to be more than double the price.
