    Very disappointed as we have been many times before! And we’re always happy! We ordered the smaller meals but they were extremely small. Presentation was very poor! Meals not worth what we paid! We visit Vics in Sunbury and Houdinis in Diggers Rest and their meals are excellent all round! We will not rush back I’m afraid!

    Went to II Solito Posto many years ago and it was brilliant. Was hoping for the same authentic Italian food and experience, but was not expecting too much. Wow, it was better than I could have imagined, the staff, the food, the ambience were all top class. The food was insane, my wife had the meatballs, said they were the best she had ever eaten. I had the chef's special barramundi, it was the best piece of fish I had ever eaten. Thank you for the experience, 5 stars, we will be back!

    My sister had told me that she and her partner had eaten at Il Solito Posto in 1997 every Friday evening and had thoroughly enjoyed everything about the place. Well, I can 100% understand why it is still going..some 28 years later. As soon as we opened the door, both Dee & I savoured the warmth and the seafoody-pastery smell. The ambience - low-lit and comforting and basically interesting - drew us in. Next, of course, was the welcoming niceness of the staff. Waiters, waitresses, bar guys, the maitre d'hote : everyone smiled naturally and wanted to assist us. The setting was lovely. The food we enjoyed. The generous size of the wine glasses and the range of mocktails and the pleasantly relaxed "flow" of the place make me want to go back soon. Yes, it was noisy - the sound of diners enjoying themselves. We loved being there. The price I thought was pretty reasonable. If you want an Italian experience, go there - and enjoy it. It's well worth it.

    Always an excellent meal. The Linguine frutta di mare is consistently good. The pecorino - bottle Ulisse winery is fabulous.
