Since I was 13 years old, I've been in the restaurant industry. I started in my grandfather’s restaurant & worked my way up to running one of the most successful restaurants in NYC - Patsy’s Italian Restaurant. My grandfather worked his way up in the restaurant industry in the 1930's and '40s and in 1942 opened his first Italian restaurant, The Sorrento. When it came time to name our new restaurant, we decided on IL Sorrento in honor of my grandfather. I know my grandparents & my mom are smiling down on us with approval. I've lived in Westchester since 1984 & have always dreamed about opening an Italian restaurant here .. now the dream is a reality. My family & I believe that having a successful restaurant is a simple formula - give people what they want: Good Food, Good Service and Good Value. At IL Sorrento, we are embracing old world charm of Southern Italy & bringing it to Westchester County. Our hope is that you will enjoy being at IL Sorrento as much as we will enjoy serving you

This place is amazing, just what the neighborhood needed, The food, Absolutely divine. Every bite was a symphony of flavor. The service was impeccable, too. The staff was attentive, knowledgeable, and eager to make recommendations. Whether you’re celebrating a special occasion or just in the mood for a fantastic meal, this restaurant is a must-visit. Can’t wait to return

I celebrated my dad’s birthday here and the staff was amazing and attentive. Food was great and had authentic flavors and menu options. Treated my family as if I was in Sorrento! Very courteous and family oriented. Will absolutely be back on an ongoing basis.

I had the lobster and shrimp risotto with spinach and it was amazing. Tasty and fresh. My friends also thoroughly enjoyed their meals, pappardelle with short ribs, lentil soup and steak and tuna tartare. Delicious

Went there with my wife i had SHRIMP LOBSTER RISOTTO to die for,their tomatoe SAUCE is the best that i ever tried it, Service food ambience something that we didn’t see in Westchester Big up for you guys

The staff was lovely and very helpful especially in regards to questions about allergies and ingredients. The food was delicious. The noise level is quite high .

From the start, they rushed us to order, rush the food and rush, bringing us the check. Then the food had a huge hair in it and instead of immediately saying, can I get you something else was sorry we’ll take it off the bill. They tried to force us to take a new plate because that’s all they wanted to do was replace it.
