Since I was 13 years old, I've been in the restaurant industry. I started in my grandfather’s restaurant & worked my way up to running one of the most successful restaurants in NYC - Patsy’s Italian Restaurant. My grandfather worked his way up in the restaurant industry in the 1930's and '40s and in 1942 opened his first Italian restaurant, The Sorrento. When it came time to name our new restaurant, we decided on IL Sorrento in honor of my grandfather. I know my grandparents & my mom are smiling down on us with approval. I've lived in Westchester since 1984 & have always dreamed about opening an Italian restaurant here .. now the dream is a reality. My family & I believe that having a successful restaurant is a simple formula - give people what they want: Good Food, Good Service and Good Value. At IL Sorrento, we are embracing old world charm of Southern Italy & bringing it to Westchester County. Our hope is that you will enjoy being at IL Sorrento as much as we will enjoy serving you

We visited IL Sorrento with the Plastic Pistols team to celebrate the New Year, and it was an excellent experience. The ambience was modern yet cozy, the food was fantastic, and the staff was incredibly respectful. A great spot for a special occasion!

The noise level is too loud but it was new years so I’m pretty sure there were extra tables. The food was tasty and a good size serving. The waiter-Pete-was excellent and kind. My mom is hard of hearing so he stood next to her and bent down to talk with her and answer her questions. The owners were roaming the dining room constantly. At one point we couldn’t get the waiter and the owner-Frank-came and helped us. I would highly recommend this restaurant but beware of loud noise.

Except for the noise level, it was a wonderful experience. But, since you can't eat noise, we will return. For starters we had a shrimp cocktail and arancini. The shrimp were large, fresh, and cold. The arancini are stuffed with short ribs and served in a mild cheese sauce - 3 to the order and one went home. For entrees we ordered the Chicken Parmesan. The preparation was so good that you could actually taste the breading. It was quite delightful. The other entree was the Squid Ink Linguini. I'm a fan of squid ink pasta and this plate included shrimp, scallops, and calamari served in a lite garlic sauce. I'd get it after going through the rest of the menu. Two decafs rounded out the dinner. The only thing I didn't like was the was a charge for the coffee refill. Two appetizers, two dinners, 3 coffees, a glass of wonderful Super Tuscan and a Sangria - $142 plus gratuity. Not the most expensive dinner we've ever shared but certainly not the least expensive either. Quite worth the cost.

I dined here with a friend a couple of weeks ago and loved it, so I was anxious to bring my husband so he could enjoy it. I did and he did! Great service, delicious food, cocktails that weren't kids drinks. Everything was really nice. Good atmosphere and the best staff. The receptionist and host were warm and welcoming and our server Nertil was outstanding. We shared the grilled Spanish octopus which was really good. I had the cavatelli and my husband had rigatoni. Both were delicious. We'll be back. Welcome to our neighborhood.

This was my birthday dinner. I wanted a delicious Italian dinner and they did not disappoint! Food was excellent- fried calamari was tasty and cooked to perfection. Gnocchi was fluffy and not doughy, pasta dishes were cooked to a perfect Al dente. Crème brûlée was outstanding! With a group of 9 ranging from 12-77- everyone found something they liked. The service was phenomenal- attentive but not lingering.
