The Immigrant is one of the dining rooms located inside The American Club Hotel. This restaurant carries with it all of the prestige and class of the hotel it is located in, which has earned a AAA 5-diamond rating and a Forbes Five-Star Rating. The atmosphere is beautiful, as this Tudor-style building was originally a dormitory for immigrant employees that had a functional barbershop, bowling alley and pub before being converted in 1981. The Immigrant offers an ever-changing Chef's Tasting menu. This menu is new almost every night based on what ingredients are in season and what the Chef feels like preparing on any given night. An evening can contain anywhere from five to eight courses which cover a variety of different styles and cuisines. Items that have appeared here previously include red wine and rosemary braised quail as well as coffee-dusted lamb loin.
