Located in Downtown Danville, Incontro Ristorante offers Italian cuisine from all the regions of Italy. We offer signature dishes like our famous gnocchi, lasagna, comfort food and more as well as daily specials. We offer upscale casual indoor dining in the historic Hartz House and outdoor dining in our garden patio. You can enjoy live music on the patio during the dry months. The word Incontro means encounter, signifying the coming together of family and friends in a lovely and family friendly atmosphere while dining and enjoying wine from Italy and California. Our indoor and outdoor full bar offers classic and signature cocktails. House made Focaccia is served with your meal. All our sauces and desserts are made in house. We offer brunch buffet on Sundays (except holidays) and lunch on Saturdays. Parking is easy in our private parking lot off of Railroad Avenue.

  • Easter Sunday Brunch

    Incontro Ristorante will be serving a three-course brunch menu on Sunday April 20, 2025, from 10 am to 2 pm. Our menu will include a choice of soup or salad to start, an entree varying from breakfast items to lunch items and finally dessert. The price will vary depending on which entree items you choose. The menu will be posted to our website at www.incontrodanville.com The Sunday Buffet Brunch will not be served on Easter. Call to book your reservation at 925-820-2349 or right here on OpenTable.

  • Mother's Day Brunch

    Join us for a lovely Mother's Day for inside our outside seating and live music outside. We will be serving a 3 course Prix Fixe brunch menu on Sunday, May 11th for Mothers day from 10-2:30 Pm. (The regular brunch buffet will not be offered.) The price per person is dependent of the Secondi entree selected.                         Proposed to my girlfriend here and the staff made it extra special. The ambiance was great and the noise level was very quiet. The food was delicious as well. We will definitely be coming back for next Valentine’s Day!

                        The veal piccata was amazing. Nice lemon sauce. My wife had the eggplant which she typically doesn’t care for but loves it here.

                        Had a nice table in the front of house. Good service. My husband had the gnocchi, which was excellent. I had the carbonara, which was just ok. A bit too salty and not enough sauce. Definitely a good place to eat.

                        We celebrated a birthday at Incontro, and it was fantastic. It is a family-owned and run restaurant. From the minute you walk in the door, you feel welcomed. It was like going to a friend's house for dinner. The service was exceptional, and the food was delicious. There is something for everyone. They have a nice selection of cocktails and wine, too. I would highly recommend it.

                        My wife had the osso buco and I had the short rib special. Both were delicious. We had the Montepulciano wine which complimented the entrees. The staff is attentive, caring with good senses of humor.

                        The food here is like everything else at Incontro, adequate. Nothing special or memorable but nothing sub par. The service was a bit lacking with only one waiter and not enough attention. The noise level was louder than normal as there were two tables with babies and another with someone who couldn’t stop coughing. Overall there are better Italian restaurants in Danville so explore your options.
