Located in Downtown Danville, Incontro Ristorante offers Italian cuisine from all the regions of Italy. We offer signature dishes like our famous gnocchi, lasagna, comfort food and more as well as daily specials. We offer upscale casual indoor dining in the historic Hartz House and outdoor dining in our garden patio. You can enjoy live music on the patio during the dry months. The word Incontro means encounter, signifying the coming together of family and friends in a lovely and family friendly atmosphere while dining and enjoying wine from Italy and California. Our indoor and outdoor full bar offers classic and signature cocktails. House made Focaccia is served with your meal. All our sauces and desserts are made in house. We offer brunch buffet on Sundays (except holidays) and lunch on Saturdays. Parking is easy in our private parking lot off of Railroad Avenue.

    Join us at Incontro Ristorante for a Prix Fixe Dinner Menu on Tuesday, December 24th from 4 pm-9:00 pm. We will be serving a lovely menu featuring seasonal ingredients.                         We had a very nice dinner! Unfortunately we were seated right near an exit and as the door kept opening and closing (it was very cold outside) it was really drafty at our table. The beet salad was very nice and the Caesar was overdressed. Both were tasty but small. Three of the 4 entrees were outstanding! The salmon dish was very fresh and well prepared including the broccolini and potatoes. The chicken risotto was delicious. The carbonara was a disappointment as it was prepared with a heavy cream sauce instead of the traditional egg based carbonara sauce. The flavor was good but just too heavy with the cream based sauce. Overall a good experience and we will be back.

                        While the service and ambiance were excellent, the chicken and mushroom risotto had a problem that is common to most restaurants, the chicken in the risotto was bland. On the other hand, the Lasagna was excellent as was the Frito Misto starter. The desserts, Gooey Chocolate Torte and Creme Brulee were also excellent. Nice to have parking on site - enter from the street behind the restaurant. Nice outdoor area when the weather permits.

                        Highly recommend this restaurant! Food was absolutely outstanding! Started with the house salad, spinach salad with a fabulous balsamic dressing and walnuts sprinkled on top. Then had the pappadelle pasta with shrimp. Wonderful creamy pesto sauce. My companion had the lasagna which came in a cute casserole dish. She said it was fabulous! Also, the bread was really fresh, and I liked the fact that oil and vinegar were left in decorative bottles on the table. Great service! Cute ambience. I’ll definitely be back.

                        I ordered the clam shower and it arrived barely warm with a thick skin on top. I ate the whole thing and was as sick as a dog immediately upon arriving home. I won’t be back.

                        Nice location in Danville, Great parking situation. If you want outside it is very comfortable. Enclosed somewhat. Lots of seating and Heat Lamps. We had great service.

                        Best Pasta in the SR Valley area! We bring people here all the time and the quality of food, exceptional service and ambiance never disappoints. What I didn’t realize… because we usually order wine, is how fab their cocktails are! The Peach Moscow Mules were wonderful!!! And our guest loved his espresso martini. Well done, per usual!
